Command Packaging is adding a biodegradable feature to its collection of carry-out bags. The Encore line includes ECM biodegradable additives to plastic bags to accelerate biodegredation. Depending on conditions, the plastic bags will biodegrade in nine months to five years, without sacrificing the recyclability of the plastic bags, according to the company.
