Environmentally Friendly Hoods
Giles Foodservice Equipment Inc. has introduced two new environmentally friendly hoods that duct and vent like traditional hood systems. The new hoods take the company's patented system one step further by cleaning the air that is exhausted into the outside environment. Giles’ ventless hoods clean the air safely and recirculate it into the room without the need for a permanent, vented system, the company said. The hoods utilize a patent-pending process of cleaning the grease-laden air prior to discharge into the air duct.
